Please note: These mini-courses were originally created for the Light House community and are available inside the community as an added benefit to membership. We have made it available for purchase now for those who want and need deeper support and connection to their contemplative way of being without yet becoming a full member of the community.
The Invitation-Based Life
Invitations arrive in our life like letters in a mailbox or a package on our doorstep. Something has been presented to us, and we’re invited to take it in, say yes to it, and work with it—or not.
Who is the inviter, and who is the invitee? How do we notice invitations when they come? What is the purpose of these invitations? What do we do with them when they arrive? And why is it valuable to live an invitation-based life in the first place?
In this mini-course facilitated by Christianne Squires, founder of the Light House community for contemplative women, you’re taken on a gentle journey to explore these questions and to notice the invitations you’ve historically tended in your life and the ones you're tending now.
